As a third-party logistics company based in a border town, Red River Freight were perfectly positioned to enable Canadian-based Teacher’s Crate subscription service to save time and money on storage, assembly and cross-border shipping.
Teacher’s Crate is a Canadian-based subscription service with a mostly US customer base. They were looking for a way to reduce their overheads, save time and speed up the delivery process.
As a third-party logistics company based in the border town of Pembina, N.D., Red River Freight is perfectly positioned to enable them to save money and time on cross-border shipping.
We suggested a 3PL and kitting service. This allowed Teacher’s Crate to have their inventory delivered directly to us from their US manufacturer (thus saving on custom fees) while still allowing them to visit and check on their inventory with ease.
Our kitting service enabled them to ship their entire product order to us, safe in the knowledge that we would receive their products and boxes, separate them, arrange them into kits and then ship them directly to their customer base. All without them having to pay for storage, assembly staff and tariffs on cross-border delivery.
